Paediatric Surgery
Paediatric Surgery includes specialist Head and Neck Surgery, Thoracic Surgery including thoracoscopy, Abdominal Surgery including laparoscopic appendicectomy and cholecystectomy, and Paediatric Urology including inguino-scrotal and penile conditions. Paediatric Surgical Oncology and Paediatric Trauma Surgery are other areas of special interest.
Paediatric Surgery does not include otorhinolaryngology (ENT), cardiac, orthopaedics or neurosurgery. These services are provided by their own specialist surgeons.
The paediatric age range includes adolescents, children and newborns.
